Sea Catch White Shrimp
Commonly referred to as Banana Shrimp or Chaka Shrimp, the Sea Catch White Shrimp is one of the world’s major commercial prawn species. Known for its bold, sweet flavor and firm texture, it features a mild sweetness, low to medium oiliness, and a moist, medium-textured flesh. Raw flesh is translucent, turning white with pinkish bands upon cooking.

Characteristics

The White Shrimp is net harvested in the Bay of Bengal and undergoes grading, packaging, and blast freezing at our processing facility. Cooked meat is softer compared to other shrimp species, and it is highly regarded in the international seafood market.
